I started off with a Model Car World resin body, then sanded all the molded in trim off. I chopped & re-contoured the top, as well as adding '56 Olds headlights, frenching in Lincoln taillights. The front DeSoto bumper is from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland, & so is the grille, but I modified it a bit to match the contour of the Chevy grille opening. I scratchbuilt the rear bumper to get the DeSoto look, but fit on the Chevy rear. The body is painted with House Of  Kolor Violette Pearl and the top is painted  Passion Pearl. Bumpers, grille, & hubcaps are painted with Alclad 2 chrome.
